I have been seeing a few roadmap tools introduce AI writing assistants but have not come across a product roadmap tool that can generate roadmaps using prompts.

Hi Mei! There are a bunch of cool AI tools out there that can help you build a roadmap for your MVP. Some of the popular ones are ProdPad, Roadmunk, and Aha!. These tools use AI algorithms to analyze user feedback, market trends, and other relevant data to generate insights that can be used to create a roadmap. However, I must caution that while AI tools can be useful in generating insights, it's important to remember that human judgment and expertise are still critical in creating a successful product roadmap. In addition to using AI tools, you may find it helpful to follow a structured approach to building your product roadmap. I guess this article might help: https://www.cleveroad.com/blog/h.... I believe this piece would be helpful to anyone looking to create a product roadmap, including those who may be using AI tools.

the irony is thick in these AI bot responses.

Interestingly, asking Chat GPT 3.5 gave the response: "There are a number of AI tools available that can help you build a product roadmap for your MVP. Some popular options include Aha!, ProdPad, and Roadmunk...", whereas GPT 4 described why each of these was not really AI driven: "As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, there were many tools available for building product roadmaps, but they weren't typically driven by artificial intelligence. Tools like Aha!, Productboard, Roadmunk, and Jira were common. These platforms could help organize, visualize, and manage product features, timelines, and resources, and were particularly useful for planning Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). However, AI could be used in several ways to enhance such a tool. For example: Predictive Analytics: AI could predict the success of certain features based on market data, user feedback, and other factors. Resource Allocation: AI could optimize resource allocation, helping you understand how to best utilize your team's time and skills. Risk Assessment: AI could predict potential risks or bottlenecks in your roadmap, allowing you to plan for these issues in advance. Unfortunately, as of my last update, there weren't any AI-driven tools explicitly for building product roadmaps. But the integration of AI in project management and product development tools is an area of ongoing development, and there could be such tools available now in 2023.
