If you are bootstrapping, how many new users did the launch bring you or what results are you counting on if you are still planning a launch?

To be honest it's a broad term - launch. I'd say you need to launch ASAP and it's not connected with investment for sure

Our launch a year and a half ago brought us more than 100 users on the waitlist, but we couldn’t convert them into customers, so we pivoted.

if you are the product of the day, then the product of the week or even the product of the year in your category (I know such people!), then for sure you have more visibility, plus you can use these credentials in your PR outreach, in your socials etc, your pitch deck of course. You never know when this might come useful. But I would say there is not even 50% chance that every product of the day gets investors' interest.
