Is artificial intelligense big opportunities or troubles for many professions (writer, designer)?

Depends on your usage actually. Utilizing it the right way is not really a treat to professions. I have spoken to a lot of developers who think some of the codes they get from AI are not good at all. I even as a writer find it to fluffy. It is great to get ideas from AI but to use the entire output is a different thing.

I think there are opportunities but also challenges. AI can help them with content optimization and sometimes AI can inspire them with ideas. However, some human creators may be replaced by these "AI creators" and risk losing their jobs.
