Why investors prefer to invest in startups that have been warmly introduced by those that they have already built a trusted relation with. Having someone in your corner (either internally or externally) that hits all of these points in this article is a good idea if you are fundraising as a startup. You still have to have gold, even with a warm intro. And if you have gold, you dont really need the warm intro.

@sentry_co Even "Gold" must be seen by the right investors eyes, and often the Gold does not get as far as a conversation with that investor due to the points made in the article.

@thestartupwhisperer It's definitely a chicken or the egg problem. Thing about gold tho, is that you dont really need investors if you have it. Investors just amplify your efforts. But you can get there without them as well. If you have gold.
