In the world of entrepreneurship there's no time to rest. Do you take breaks on weekends?

Our dreams don't punch the clock and neither do we. Instead, we find inspiration at odd hours, seize opportunities when they arise, and pour our passion into every project we do. Our dedication fuels our success, turning ordinary ideas into extraordinary realities. So, here's a question for all of you incredible creators: Do you take breaks on the weekends?

Right now only if I feel a little burned out because the weekend is where I can get the most done being as the project email emu I’m working on is my side project I still have a day job!

@wyatt_feaster Ahhhh I'm like you. I have my main work during the day. Then do my side project in the early morning, on evenings and then do as much as i can during the weekend.

@dawn_marie_n yup yup! I have found I feel burned out I need to take a break to make sure I am enjoying the process!

@eren_socialclub Absolutely taking breaks not only recharges us but also enhances our creativity and resilience. Not all weekends I take breaks though but I also make sure to prioritise family so will shut off on the weekend and do something fun with them.
Not really. All the side projects start on weekends. I continue thinking at work during weekends, but I try to go out for a walk or do something different, even though it's not necessarily to relax but to organize thoughts... For work 😂

@vlad_burca For some people work is always on their mind. I'm like that. My mind's always racing with ideas and what else can I do.

I find joy in the journey itself more than the outcome, relishing every moment of the creative process and rarely considering the need for breaks because I genuinely enjoy what I'm doing. It pains me to take a break without doing any work as I strongly believe consistency is the key.

@prisca1 I completely believe this too. I started a business back in 2016 but didn't continue it and that's because i was attached to the outcome. I didn't make time to enjoy the process. Now I'm doing things differently and enjoying the journey more. Good idea!

I don't take breaks in the traditional sense, but I do enjoy changing gears and working on different projects on weekends.

@tara_fitzgerald That's a great perspective! Shifting gears and exploring different projects can bring a fresh perspective!

I usually find myself the most productive on weekends, but generally I think it's good to have a little break, especially if you feel like it would boost your productivity once you get back to work

@davol Maybe I'm a workaholic but when I'm not doing work I'm thinking about it. It's definitely the time to be more productive!

It is funny because i really feel like the weekends tend to be the most productive days. As you get to work freely on the tasks that do not imply meetings and calls, you have a continous process of work.

@mihai_puiu Agree with you on this! With full time commitment, weekends is when I just get the time to focus on me and work freely on what I need.

@dawn_marie_n maybe it also depends on the intensity of the week work! Anyways, thank you for the answer!

Hi Marie. I always try to have periods during the day to rest and enjoy myself. It is not the most healthy habit to be 24/7 working. Hope I could provide some value for you. Would love to connect and share some more detailed ideas
