Hey everyone, I've been navigating the SEO tool space and noticed a significant gap that many of us are likely familiar with. The majority of indexing tools out there require adding their account to your Google Search Console (GSC), posing a not-so-small privacy concern. They essentially have the keys to access your valuable GSC data. On top of that, these tools are cloud-based services with a recurring cost - I've seen prices averaging around $10 per month, which adds up quickly. Aiming to address these pain points, I developed a tool that operates locally. It leverages your own Google API account for auto-indexing, ensuring your data stays private and secure. Instead of a subscription model, I opted for a one-time fee of $99, thinking it would offer significant value by cutting down ongoing costs. It's been two weeks since launch, but, surprisingly, there hasn't been any uptake. I'm trying to figure out where my strategy might have gone wrong. Was it the pricing? The marketing? Or perhaps there's a lack of awareness or trust in the effectiveness of a locally-run tool compared to cloud-based solutions? I'd greatly appreciate any insights, feedback, or experiences you might share. Where do you think I could improve or adjust my approach? Thank you so much for your help!

RE data privacy & SEO: A lot of people/businesses only have a very vague knowledge of what SEO and data privacy means to their net surfing experiences. When they see the real value of WHY they should utilize this and the transformation that THEY receive, it will become easier to gain momentum. Saying "it can cause privacy concerns" may seem obvious to you/me/experts in that space, but it doesn't really ram home what that can mean and how serious it can be to the viewer. The obvious transformation to them personally is what they seek. Keep providing knowledge of what that can mean from their perspective. RE your pricing: If google charges average $10 per month (12 months), and you charge $99 per year (12months), there probably isn't a big enough savings ($19 per year) for it to make a massive impact until they really understand WHY they really need it. Makes sense? :D
