Congrats Hilal. Can you give us a view on the split of users you already had vs linkedin contacts of Product Hunters supporting your product? Which one is more important in your view?

Hi @roberjet Thanks for the question! 😊 While we've had a mix of existing users and our own LinkedIn community of Product Hunt, we believe that both are equally important when it comes to supporting.
We were working on connecting as many Product Hunters as possible on LinkedIn way before our launch is scheduled. So, the users/supporters we already had were mostly members of PH, and it helped us a lot. Moreover, we tried to reach fellow Product Hunters and receive their feedback on Oppflow on the launch day.
I believe, the most important thing to do during the launch is to get connected with people, learn their thoughts&suggestions, ask for their feedback. Creating an engaging experience for all parties is crucial for success. 🚀
What is one thing you did that most companies are failing to do in order to get #1?

Hi @luke_button Thanks for your question! We started building our Product Hunt community about 8 months before our launch. We believe that getting to know people on Product Hunt and communicating with them on external platforms was crucial to our success.
During our launch, our main focus was on receiving genuine feedback, rather than just support from Product Hunt users. We believe that this approach is often overlooked by makers.
We received a lot of valuable feedback during and after our launch, which helped us to better understand how people perceive our product from their unique perspectives. We immediately analyzed the comments and feedback to improve Oppflow. We believe that this feedback loop is critical to building a successful product.

Also, what are the top 3 things you and your team did, both before and on launch day in terms of outreach that really helped rank #1?
Hi @maria_hayat Thanks for your question! Yes, we scheduled our launch exactly one month before and started using the 'Coming Soon' feature at the same time.
To prepare for our launch, we focused on being active users on Product Hunt and engaging with the community. We also reached out to people on different platforms, with a particular focus on LinkedIn.
We began engaging with Product Hunt users well before scheduling our launch, and continued to do so during launch day. Our primary goal was to receive genuine feedback rather than asking for support.
Overall, we believe that our outreach efforts and engagement with the Product Hunt community played a critical role in our successful launch. Thanks for your interest in Oppflow!
