October 2020: I started learning how to code. March 2022: I started working on my movie recommendation app MovyDick. May 2022: I launched a side project for the very first time. June 2022: I broke the 100 users bar. February 2023: I launched a brand new side project inside my side project MovyDick I saw that the Oscar Awards were coming in March 12th, 2023 so I decided to build a fun Oscar votes game around that. 100+ people already used it. Congrats on your achievements, I get a 404 when clicking the "Start now" and "Pick now" buttons. As a designer and front-end developer, there are some things on your website that trigger my "I wanna fix that" mode, haha. Quick suggestions on your Oscar nomination page: - Try a better color palette, and limit the number of colors, because right now there is too much contrast between all of them and it's hard to stay on that page for more than 2 seconds. - I know it's kinda the style you're going with, but, bold text everywhere is pretty bad, use it sparingly. Combined with that bad color palette and emojis, it's just too much visual noise. Good luck with your launch!
