How would you rate your company's legal process?

I've recently been speaking with founders about how their company tackles legal contract generation/execution, and I'd love to hear from this community- how is your company handling this process? What's working and perhaps more importantly what isn't? Good, bad or indifferent, any feedback on best (or worst?) practices is much appreciated!

This is an excellent question and something I struggled with in the beginning. I am still not an expert on it. XD. I wish sometimes to a fairy god-lawyer to just have on call! For LOOFT we incorporated through Clerky and use many of their provided templates for our legal paperwork. Their support are not lawyers, however, so I try to get extra input when I have questions. For that extra support I reach out to someone, usually through Upcounsel. It is not ideal, as you don't know what you are going to get there. Otherwise it is on the entrepreneur to spend time reading and educating themselves on their options. As mentioned, I am still confused as to the when, and why of many of the legal requirements as a corporation and I wish there was less expensive support out there for Startups that don't have comprehensive funding. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any follow-up questions! P.S. - We just launched on PH and could use the support, click my face for the details!
