How do you take down your notes in/during active meeting sessions?

Greetings Product Hunters! I have always struggled with trying to actively focus in meetings and take notes simultaneously, plus the fear of missing out on the details of the meeting for later use I take notes, but then I might lose touch with being active-minded sometimes in the meeting. Most of you are geniuses and this might be not an issue I am sure but for others like me, who struggle to keep up with both of the attentive tasks at hand, how do you manage your note-taking during meetings?

Write it down very simply, focusing on the keywords. I used to use paper notebooks, but now I usually use notion app. Taking a brief note during a meeting session not only helps you organize what you have to do, but also shows that you are paying a lot of attention to the contents of the meeting.

@anna_choi hey anna, sorry for the delay. This is a decent method and I use OneNote + notion coherently so that isn't the issue but the note-taking task during the active meeting itself. Taking brief notes works but sometimes I realize I might have missed some minute important details trying to do 2 tasks at once. Nevertheless, I just came up with my own solution in the meantime to just completely delegate my work in the form of an extension and now I'm planning to make a sharable public version for others to use as well, should they feel the need. If you're interested you can check it themeetingextension.com Thanks for your time. :D

I have a mechanical keyboard so to keep things quiet I just use a physical notebook and digitize it later. Plus there are tons of apps out there now that takes notes for you

@naomichao hey naomi, thanks for this. Can you list the apps you speak of? Thanks!
