Please share how do you fight the state when yoy feel a strong inner resistance and find a bunch of reasons why not to do something? Especially when there is no deadline for the task or goal and you can easily dismiss it, but you know if you accomplish this you will be greatful to yourself in the future and/or feel relief.

first of stop blaming yourself and allow this feeling to come in. Once you allow it and process it move to a next phase -- find motivagtion. But that's a whole another story and the most tough one.

@alex_kratko1 Agreed. Allowing is the key. Once we dive into the feeling, however uncomfortable, and let it stay as long as it needs, it starts to dissolve. Unconditional presence and validation give us space to process why was it there in the first place. Resistance, inner walls, self sabotage or whatever other `motions´ aren`t our enemies, they are just feedback loops. They come up for a reason.

I've always found these tips helpful: - Identifying your triggers: What are the thoughts, emotions, or situations that tend to lead you to self-sabotage? Once you're aware of your triggers, you can start to work on finding other ways to deal with them. - Challenging your negative thoughts: When you're feeling tempted to self-sabotage, take a step back and examine your thoughts. Are they really true? What evidence do you have to support them? Challenging your negative thoughts can help you to see the situation in a more realistic light. - Building a support network: Surround yourself with people who will support and encourage you on your journey. These people can provide a much-needed boost when you're struggling to overcome inner resistance.

Well, if there is no deadline, you are lucky. You don`t have to rush yourself through this stage. As @alex_kratko1 already commented, allowing is a key. Reaffirm to yourself that it is understandable and normal to feel this way. Because it is. Sometimes we simply don`t want to do things. Sometimes we are tired, demotivated, stressed, overworked, distracted, unsure, burnedout, afraid, -... whatever the case - and they are all completely normal situations and emotions to go through. When we allow the uncomfortable, it starts to loose it`s grasp over us. FEEL whatever it is that arises within you. Be unconditionally present with it. Breath. Take your time. It`s allowed to be seen, heard, felt, held. That´s what we all need deep down, don`t we? And once the tension lessens, we can start to look to the situation more objectively. What do you resist exactly? Why you don`t feel like doing x or y? What does it trigger within me? What does it mean or represent about me, if I can`t? What unmet need is there that contradicts the situation or freezes you to take action? That last one is pretty powerful. What do you need, in order to accomplish this? Whether emotionally or otherwise. That´s how I usually introspect my situation. First dive into the FEELING, the SENSATIONS in the body, and once it calms and self regulates - approach it from more mental perspective. I hope this added to your inquiry and that you find what works for you best to resolve this.
