I make sure there is a defined agenda

To ensure that I am well-prepared for each meeting, I follow a few key steps. First, I always review the agenda beforehand and make sure I understand the purpose and objectives of the meeting. This helps me identify any areas where I may need to do some additional research or come up with ideas or solutions to contribute to the discussion. I also take the time to review any relevant documents or materials that have been shared in advance, such as reports or presentations. This helps me familiarize myself with the topic and be ready to ask questions or contribute to the conversation. Finally, I make sure to arrive early to the meeting so that I have time to set up any necessary equipment or materials, as well as mentally prepare myself for the discussion. By following these steps, I feel confident and ready to contribute to the meeting and collaborate with my colleagues.

If it's with someone I don't know much about, I copy-paste their LinkedIn profile into chatGPT and ask it to summarize. I then ask it to generate 3 interesting questions to start a conversation with this person.

I read through what the agenda of the meeting is about, get things ready from my end at places where I can add value!

As I learned in mediation, you must always be prepared for the meeting. This preparation entails many things that real life has taught me such as the following: 1. Read any material shared by participants prior to the meeting 2. Request a meeting agenda to be carefully reviewed 3. Check upon the participants (profiles, positions) 4. Review prior meeting minutes related to this meeting 5. Clear your mind, preferably with meditation 6. Prepare a template of your personal notes based on your expectations, dont start creating notes at the final moment

I have back-to-back meetings most days and the most useful thing to do is have all your resources prepared.

1. Review the agenda and any relevant materials beforehand - Knowing the purpose and focus of the meeting will help you come prepared with relevant questions or points to discuss. 2. Clarify any unclear or open-ended items - If there are any items on the agenda that are unclear or open-ended, reach out to the organizer or relevant parties beforehand to get more information. 3. Confirm the logistics - Make sure you know the time, date, location, and any necessary technology for the meeting. 4. Plan any necessary materials or resources - If you need to bring any materials or resources to the meeting (e.g. a presentation), make sure to have everything prepared and organized.
