Share your work and get it reviewed by others. Your way of seeing things may be different from others. As a UI/UX designer, you should be able to see things through others eyes (can be their perspectives/taste)

Stay updated with industry trends: Follow design blogs, forums, and social media accounts to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in UI/UX design. This will help you understand current design patterns and techniques. Practice visual design skills: Work on honing your visual design skills, such as creating appealing layouts, selecting appropriate colors, and choosing suitable typography. Practice using design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma to create mockups and prototypes. Conduct user research: Understand the needs and behaviors of your target users through user research methods like interviews, surveys, and usability testing. This will help you design interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly. Seek feedback: Share your work with other designers or professionals in the field and ask for constructive criticism. Feedback can help identify areas for improvement and provide valuable insights. Stay curious and experiment: Don't be afraid to try new things and experiment with different design approaches. Stay curious and open to learning from your mistakes and successes. Build a portfolio: Create a portfolio showcasing your best work. This will not only help you document your progress but also serve as a showcase for potential clients or employers. Collaborate with others: Join design communities, attend design events, and collaborate with other designers. Engaging with a community of designers can provide you with valuable feedback, insights, and support.

How do you get better at anything P R A C T I C E Believe me I wish there was another way, or some youtube video that would simply explain it all and you'd be a guru, but, in my experience, its practice. I can be a bit more specific, when it comes to learning how to walk, you get instant feedback on how you're going. That is how you can go from barely being able to move, to walking then running in about a year. However, when it comes to UI/UX design, you don't smack the pavement the instant you press save in Figma, or even when you hit publish and push something to your website. Feedback, which is what helps us learn, takes a while to accumulate. So you're going to find that you will need to practice smart and be patient. Practice smart by looking at other websites and then analysing their performance in things like Ahrefs or semrush. If its not a website, then ask around which programs people like using and why. I could go on, but hopefully the message is clear that you need to repeatedly seek feedback and prototype/iterate on your designs. Cheers, and hope this helps somebody!
