This is a great question. The answer is a balance between two sides. Side one is impulse. You don't want to make a decision on an impulse, as your sensory awareness can lie a lot. It's very easy for us to think "This sucks, I NEED to change this right now" and impulsively make a decision. On the other side, is doubt. You don't want to doubt and block yourself from making the right decision because you thought about something so much. So don't be ignorant/aversive and don't be atttached when making decisions and do what will help the most people around you (including yourself).

I consider only 2 things. I think about what is the most loving thing to do. What is most loving might be standing my ground on a boundary and cutting someone off, or asking someone about something they really love, even if I'm not personally interested, or savoring my food at dinner and eating it slow to enjoy every bite, or it's making sure I eat quick so that I can visit someone. and How does my life purpose relate to this difficult decision?

Dealing with difficult decisions involves a combination of careful analysis, consultation with relevant stakeholders, and consideration of potential outcomes. First, I strive to gather all pertinent information, weighing the pros and cons of each option. Then I take a call based on it
