How do people really get so many upvotes on their day of launch?

I find it very cool and at the same very difficult for someone to get so many upvotes in 24% of their launch.

I love seeing them get to so much interest which identifies an early excellent product.

However i am wondering what are some ways, that people use to get so many upvotes and just basically how they tend to show and put their product out there?

Send emails to user, shout out on social media, invite friends... just share the launching news with everyone you can reach.

Maybe they have a good email list and send a email asking for up-votes. Share on social channels maybe work too
