How did you make your first internet dollar?

For me, it was a guide I wrote on how to break into product management. I didn't expect anyone to pay for it (I literally let people download it for free) but still, some people did. It really blew me away and got me excited to start building.
How did you make yours? How long did it take? I'd love to hear about it!

It was when I was 15-16 years old.
I knew a person who sold replica luxury belts (it was fashionable in my time).
Being in a school with boarding school, and therefore internal, I created my first resale purchase business.
That's when I understood that entrepreneurship will be my line of conduct

My first payments I got from my pet-projects 🐶.
I started my tech career with creating custom add-ons to Minecraft 🌎 when I was 16 years old. After completing the first version of one of them, I started to publish it through author-content-delivery systems 📧.
But the launch is not only about writing code and publishing release.
It is also about marketing and support. So I started to write on different forums, chats, groups... ✍️
And after the first month of hard-working, I got my first payment 💵.

Instagram marketing
Had a little e-commerce store in University that I managed to sell some things through before it quickly became unprofitable. In terms of profit, weirdly enough writing on Medium.
I'll still occasionally get a dollar or two from them every now and then years later.
@benjamin_katz2 Right? Worst part is I've gone back and read a couple posts that were still getting views/engagement monthly and cringed at all the errors.
My first dollar online came by selling a notion template just 1 day after I put it out.
Actually I had originally built a hotel management system in notion for my own family use. But after seeing how much time saving it was, I put up a landing page, setup gumroad and put my template for sale.
Surprising part in all of this, the first buyer purchased it because he loved my landing page(which was also built in notion) even though he didn't have an actual need for the product and he wanted to support my work.

I generated my initial income using Google AdSense. I developed a Thermal scope for coyote tool specifically designed for Polish individuals.
