How did you guys create your logos for your products?

I used different bold-colored letters 😅

I don’t have any skills for designs, but as I like my logos minimalist or clean, I use Canva. They have plenty of templates which I can refer to to create mine :)

Simple is better. I used a simple symbol - the lambda for evoke-app.com against a black background

research — collect loads of logos you like the look off. distill — make note of what you like and don't like. review — group them and if there are themes. —— all the above should give you strong base to off —— create — simple rough ideas shortlist — select a few you like refine — as said. boom done. p.s I'm a product design so my answer may be bias but hope it helps.

I don't overthink it, in the beginning it's not important at all 😄 So my process is: ➜ Go to Google Fonts (they work everywhere and every design app supports them) ➜ Write the name of the product ➜ Find something that looks nice to you If you need an icon just use initials of your product with that font and a simple shape. That's it 😄

After defining the goals & style guides. I'm generating logo with AI Art Generators and Figma

I always start with very simple sketches with pen and paper! I will fill up an 8"x11" sheet of paper with a handful of quick ideas and slightly different iterations of each one. Take breaks and then dive back into it and make more iterations, and keep trying to come up with new ideas. I find that if I push myself to create more rough drafts I will eventually land on something I like a lot, and then I can nail down a better sketch and/or move on to creating it in Photoshop. You can probably find other apps that are easier to learn how to create your design in if you don't know Photoshop, or if you end up wanting to pay a designer to create it, it will be great to have already figured out what you want and provide them a sketch and maybe slight, additional details.
