We considered the needs and feedback of our customers and the current trends in the industry in order to create something that would be most beneficial to our users.

@annachen_ While I definitely agree these are necessary things, I'm not sure they're sufficient. The reality of business is that you don't just need to have something great that people want, you also need to have a way to deliver it to them at a cost that makes economic sense. So I'd add that, in addition to thinking about customer needs and feedback, it also makes sense to validate whether you can drive waitlist signups at a cost lower than your expected LTV. Keep iterating through things your customers value until you find something that checks all the boxes.

The first thing I always do for the idea is to look for the problem around me or what problem I am facing and currently the solution exists in the market or not.
If the solution exist then the next process will be to check how feasible is that according to UI, pricing and other criteria. We need to examine as a user experience first and later as a developer.
Build the MVP, get user feedback and plan accordingly.

I have created over 1,000 slides.
Through this experience, I have found the following Insights
- Everything requires mouse operation, which is tedious.
- This tediousness is a burden on Output.
- It is good if we can express strength, tone, and relationship
- I want to be able to express them using only the Keyboard.
In addition, from my experience of reading many articles, books, and documents, I also felt that the existing format of text was problematic. I thought that Tones could solve this problem as well.
(I am not fluent in English, so I am using DeepL to translate the text.)
I could not find an app that generated lorem ipsum text independent of what program or app I was using. So I ended up with one VSCode extension, one chrome extension and one figma extension for the same purpose, generating lorem ipsum text. All of them working in their own way.
That's when I came up with the idea for the Lorema app, which solves this issue perfectly! :)

@daniel_danielsson @angeli_ Yes, I'm currently coding solutions I'm gonna use almost daily because I can't find a market version that suits my needs. I've already done the same with documents and data; collected what I needed, used it extensively and then offered it to some friends to avoid them the extra work. I'm now thinking to turn it into a side project. If feedback is good and lots of people want it, it's a good way to make your work profitable once more ;)

I'd say,
Wanting to create something in that particular subject.
Afterwards all the research of market gap and finding opportunities comes.
imho, its important to find what you really want to do, so you'd have some kind of connection and enjoyment.

We were saddened by the lack of faces in marketing and the number of people hiding on group chats without cameras on. Having a remote workforce meant people in different timezones felt left out, the team were isolated and not engaging in a friendly "human" way. So we came up with the idea to create an asynchronous video-first community platform so timezones didn't matter (asynchronous) and conversations became more personal and authentic (video conversations).
@martine_hammar So true. Without cameras on, my coworkers in meetings just become voices, rather than people.
@martine_hammar Online meetings are definitely hard to get right. People seldom get comfortable with switching on their videos.

With evoke-app.com, one of my friends found it hard to set up stable diffusion on the cloud to make an app, and other API providers being slow or pricey.
So we set up to make a stable diffusion API for app devs.
We'll also host more open source AI in the future, but stable diffusion and related models are our current focus
I created a simple app (cuz none existed) to solve my own problem then I realised that other people might have the same problem so I created Focusability.

SMAFLEET was started as an endeavor to address practical fleet management challenges my colleagues and I have been experiencing. I am a Fleet Manager and my goal is to solve all the fleet management challenges I have come across.
I did a market research prior to launching it, which helped me change some aspects before its final launch.
We have been transforming one product into another. Communicating with clients and analyzing their requests, we have created a universal product that has been placed under a separate logo and is developing it.
Love this question! Whenever a Powerball lottery jackpot grows, two things always happen: 1) A conversation ensues about how astronomical the odds are, and 2) someone always wins. In 2019, I started studying lottery data patterns for games with lower odds. Currently, MyLottoData has ALL US historical lottery data since 1979, and over 1000 active subscribers. Goal: 1,000,0000 active subscribers.
Identified a pain that I was fighting with all the time, then decided to build a solution
