When creating healthy eating habits you have to understand that the first 2 weeks are extremly hard (especially if all you were eating before was crap). The greatest advice i can give you for starters without confusing you, which is what a lot of information on the internet does is to just eat WHOLE foods (one ingridient, ex. banana, beef, eggs, avocado,...), NO SEED OILS and NO ADDED SUGAR! If you do this for a month you will naturaly become healthier and lose weight. After the first month you can also cut out all the artificial sweetners because they do your body more harm than good. And lastly; FOCUS ON WHAT YOU SHOULD BE EATING, RATHER THAN ON WHAT YOU SHOULDN'T BE EATING ---> meat, eggs, fruits, vegetables, raw honey, potatoes, raw cheese,... all of this food is going to make you feel incredible and trust me you will even stop craving all the other shit (my favorite desert rn is literally greek yoghurt with banana, mixed berries and honey).

@lifang1 Thank you for the compliment. As I said, nutrition is very simple. Look at things that have single ingridients; meat, broccoli, almonds, banana - this are just a few examples of foods that NATURE gives us and aren't made in a lab somewhere. Eating sinlge ingridient foods is going to make you feel better and lose weight naturally (because your body will detox from all the crap you were eating before and start functioning normally). If you have any more questions feel free to ask me and i will answer with the best of my abilities :) stay healthy

To tell the truth, the healthy eating habits I have developed arose from my stomach problems. Since the beginning of my gastritis, I have learned to adjust my diet to the different phases of stomach treatment. Therefore, now the best thing for me is an appropriate diet, besides, I often find information about various medicines and supplements I need at the Canadian Pharmacy Partnership, so for now my strategy in healthy eating habits is to listen to the needs of my body and provide it with all the necessary elements and vitamins

Absolutely, I'd love to join the discussion on maintaining healthy eating habits! It's definitely a journey filled with ups and downs, but finding what works for you is key. Here's a glimpse into my approach: A Typical Day: My day usually starts with a nutritious breakfast, often incorporating whole grains, fruits, and a source of protein like eggs or yogurt. Throughout the day, I aim for balanced meals and snacks, focusing on lean proteins, plenty of vegetables, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates. Meal Planning: I'm a big fan of meal planning, usually done on weekends. It helps me stay organized and ensures I have the right ingredients on hand. I try to include a variety of foods in my meals to cover all the essential nutrients. Plus, having meals prepped in advance saves me time during busy weekdays. Resisting Cravings: One trick I've found helpful is to keep healthier alternatives on hand for when cravings strike. Instead of reaching for chips or candy, I'll have things like nuts, fruits, or veggie sticks available. Also, allowing myself occasional treats in moderation helps prevent feeling deprived. Adjusting for Activity: Depending on my activity level for the day, I adjust my portions and timing of meals. If I have a workout planned, I make sure to fuel up with a balanced meal or snack beforehand, and refuel with a mix of protein and carbohydrates afterwards to support muscle recovery. Tools and Resources: I've found nutrition-tracking apps to be incredibly useful in helping me stay mindful of my food choices and ensure I'm meeting my nutritional goals. They provide valuable Insights into my eating patterns and help me make adjustments as needed. Overall, finding a balance between enjoying food and nourishing my body has been key for me. It's all about making sustainable choices that work for my lifestyle and listening to my body's needs. I'm excited to hear what strategies others have found success with!
