Games involving social collaboration

Hi, I am trying to build a social game with the following (loosely-defined right now) mechanics: You join another person or a group of people on a quest for around a week. For every day you are on the quest, you have to perform an action in the real world (like exercising). The more people that perform that action, the more XP/rewards everyone is able to earn What are other such games/gamified apps that you can think of? Essentially I am trying to harness social influence in order to help people build better habits/behaviors. My solution currently broadly involves having 1 or more anonymous people work together to complete a task like perhaps killing a monster together or growing a tree together. Are there other games with similar mechanics that I can use for inspiration? I know of Habitica but that's about it.

This is pretty interesting - It kinda reminds me of https://www.dietbet.com/ and other apps where people pay into a pot, and then whoever does the challenge successfully at the end of the week/month split the pot as winnings/reward.

Interesting idea. It sounds like a peer-pressure (or accountability) type of habit builder. What mechanism would stop people from cheating?

@katerinabohlec Three mechanisms I can think of are these: 1. Make the habit facilitated by an in-app activity. e.g. the meditation that you have to listen to is present in the app itself. So the app will know whether or not you meditated that day. Similarly for exercise. However if people choose to run the meditation in the background and ignore it... well that can't be helped. 2. Pedometer readings. Works only for walking habits but effective I think. 3. Have people post some proof like a picture or a short video
