- initial traction, ideally even going viral? it is a boost for appstore downloads - feedback my 2 cents :P

- Couple of new users - A lot of feedback

You need to hope that they will give you feedback about your product and an honest opinion about it. This is also activity on your product.

Cold start, get first 20 users and find a great real customers. help you find the product market fit.

In my opinion: - traction - feedback - collect beta testers - validate product-market fit assumptions - newsletter subscribers We'll be scheduling a product launch over the next few weeks, so I'll let you know which of these we actually manage to reach and how!

I'm launching tomorrow, so I can't I have much experience in this, but I think if your product is good, you can expect permanent growth.
