True that. Interactions are dead. The same happens to Instagram these days. Engagement is down af. --> Where I see potential for reach is Facebook Reels. That tends to work lately. In some niches, you still have Facebook groups that are engaging... But overall, yeah...those days are gone.

@matthias_strafinger Organic growth is getting harder each day and the constant algorithm update makes it very challenging for small businesses or new creators who simply can't put the time to post everyday (part of their latest 'want' to succeed). Great point re: Reels. I think they are indeed growing and the one thing that keeps our FB views high. Video for the win on any platform tbh!

@mirena_vasileva The biggest issue I see is that content is getting a commodity (not only with AI but that too). We are flooded by avg. content (e.g. Canva). This used to work for a couple of years. Now you really need to entertain and educate your audience to get the attention. The question remains how can you effectively and efficiently create content on a certain level. This is the difficult task.

Defo need a more strategic and creative approach.
Mirena Vasileva
@prathamnandha Yes, but to get maximum visibility as a new brand it's still a challenge. Anything particular you have in mind?
Pratham Nandha
@mirena_vasileva Yes your right facebook is slowly dying therefore its just takes more effort, i much would rather go on tiktok/reddit where you can get impressions more organically.

I don't think anyone can prove you wrong easily. I think it definitely depends on your niche, but I can't think of a single niche I'd commit to marketing on Facebook without ads.
Mirena Vasileva
@carter_barnett my point exactly :) you can only win the FB game if you are willing to invest in ads. The level of organic engagement is also much different than IG, TikTok and Twitter and I think that is the main setback when it comes to organic growth on FB
Carter Michael
@mirena_vasileva It sucks but "it is what it is" I suppose. Seemingly more platforms are moving into that lifecycle overtime.
Mirena Vasileva
@carter_barnett yeah I suppose they get oversaturated and only few very creative and innovative brands stand out

Looks like it! It's getting old for even the oldies now!
you are right! IG and FB are dead. It is time for a new one. TikTok is not for everyone.

@helendomina agree that FB is dead, not sure of Instagram but it is really hard to beat the algorithm on there and the competition is fierce. Do you have any particular project in mind?
@mirena_vasileva yeah I have like 38k followers on Insta that seam to be very hard to maintain. For my goals that platform is dead as I am not going to spend hours of unpaid time recording reels.. better use youtube) Yes since I'm a UI/UX designer and freelancer I decided to pitch my project in remote working sphere. I can make investor prototype for myself and design presentation so let's see how things will go for me)

Facebook groups provide no reach, no engagement even if you have alot of members. Its just a dead concept to use FB groups for building a community. Very niche groups have alot of interaction and engagement, but most don't.
Mirena Vasileva
@mahad_kamran agreed! People are turning to discord, private WhatsApp/Slack channels and reddit now it seems. Where do you find most engagement?
Fabian Maume
Posting in Groups can still give you a little bit of organic reach.
Mirena Vasileva
@fabian_maume totally agree, Facebook is still really good for groups and communities although those are hit and miss when it comes to the quality of members and level of engagement but I do agree this is a valid point :)
Tedel
Do you still have a Facebook account? Wow. It's been dying since 2013. It's been mostly dead since 2018.
Tedel
@mirena_vasileva They are outdated. There is no need to believe me. Take a look by yourself. https://trends.google.com/trends...
