Effectiveness of Affiliate marketing in SaaS industry

I am in the process of creating my SaaS and I asked myself the question of adding affiliation or not to my marketing. and I think it depends on the project and the maturation of the project. because for me affiliation is ok, when your product is stable and mature, and you want to scale your product. I'll tell you more when I get there 😅

We get around 5% of revenue from affiliate marketing without doing anything. What I mean by that we just created the affiliate program, but we're not promoting it or reaching out to people. So if we focused more on it I'm sure it could get us even more revenue.
