Doesn't employees' listening to music while working affect their attention level?

I know listening to music is relaxing, but shouldn't I worry about my employees' work quality? Wouldn't music take their attention away and put "customer trust" at risk?

It depends on the job title of the employee.
For example, an engineer could listen to music the entire work day and not affect work quality at all.
