Does anyone here have experience with motion detection?

I'd like to use AI for a small app. Basically, the users' videos should be monitored with motion detection, and feedback provided in that regard! Is it expensive to implement? Are there maybe open source projects? Would love to talk to someone that knows more than I. -Stay Awesome Cheers, Lukas
