Does an incognito mode sounds interesting for all chat apps?

If you were to give the option to read and view entire messages without letting the other user know on most chat apps, without any limitation. 
Is it something you would like to use from time to time?

if it's a social media approach C2C and you get a lot of people who want to scam others. adding am option where they can preview the message without having a prove of interaction that might be a good idea. but other than that not really.

I've never really been bothered by this. i have my blue ticks off on WhatsApp so anyway people don't know if I read their messages or not.
