Do you use your podcast to promote your product?

Now a lot of businesses create podcasts to promote their service or business. As a rule, they are hosted by the founders of the product and invite guests for interviews, who also create services. How do you think it is helpful to sell your service so? Please share your experience. Thanks.

This sounds like a great idea, not only are you able to establish yourself in the business, but you are also able to showcase or help others. I think once someone starts a Podcast, they are able to nail down their niche a bit more and then able to create around that.

@lysten_inc Yes, I agree with you. When a founder creates a podcast he can develop their niche and awareness about your product.
I don't. Podcasts are costly to produce.They don't bring that much SEO benefits, compared to written articles, and are harder to update.
I guess bigger companies must be active on all the channels but for us, startups, there might be better options to begin with.

Some people prefer reading while the others are more into watching and/ or listening, hence the different sources for knowledge-sharing. Also, podcasts are a great way of promoting collaborative knowledge and collaboration itself. However, the most important part is to deliver value in any case.
I was a host in a number of podcasts myself and I find it a great way to communicate with the audience. I find it more personalised, as you can share your knowledge in your own way, through a story, which can definitely make a stronger impact on the audience and in turn, strengthen your public image.
