Do you think pre-launch followers matters for launch?

I am referring to the coming soon pages where people click on notify me for launch. I see some products having 1k+ people, which is extraordinary. Do you think this is a precursor of a successful launch?

All I can offer is numbers. We launched a side project last month to test and understand PH better, before our incoming main launch. At that time I had 15 followers on PH and 35 on the coming soon page which we set 5 days before launch, if I'm not mistaken. We didn't push any paid or social media marketing; we didn't even tell friends and families. We've got 67 votes at launch, I think, and 1 review. I wish I knew who was coming from from (followers vs coming soon page), but I feel that it doesn't hurt to set the coming soon page, especially given how easy it is to do so.

@fabiosalvadori Good to hear your experience. I am going for my first launch ever (+ solo one). I want to test the waters. Let's see where it goes :D
I think so - all of those followers will get a notification on the day of your launch 🚀
