Do you really believe that AI will change the world, and Why?

I think AI trends have established a new interface concept for all new tech. People expect to type in their native language and get some "intelligent" response. People expect to speak in their native voice and use a device (computer, car, elevator, coffee machine, etc.) to understand what they are saying. AI is the future of human interface to machines. More specifically, multimodal AI (LLM, vision, voice, etc.) is now part of the human interface to computing resources for average human beings. Before the transformer-based LLMs, only geeks/nerds / software engineers could "speak" to the computer using command line prompts. $ ps auxww | grep cargo | awk '{print $2}' | xargs kill -9 is now: prompt> how do I stop all RUST programs on my computer??? Soon> computer, stop all RUST programs. Computer> done!
