Do you think video games have any relation to age? Like should one stop playing video games just because he/she is working or specifically say, has become an adult.

I'm going 37 in few days and I still play games on my Nintendo Switch. And just like any other gamers, there are games that I'm not a fan of like all first person shooter kind of games, but there are also games I like, like RPG games.

I do, only reason I don't play them as much is because of the lack of time! But it's definitely a hobby you can enjoy at any age.

I part of several gaming communities and have games from their teens to retirees. I don't think it has anything to do with age except that people tend to game less when they have other commitments.
@maxwellcdavis Yes, but most of the parents(especially Asian parents) or colleagues don't think the same. I guess lack of time is still the big cause behind losing our teenage craze to video games. Thanks for sharing!!
@maxwellcdavis @mahak I think it's nice when parents don't see games as evil and play them with kids. It can be a nice bonding time 🙂. I was lucky I could play various games with my parents :-).
Also, I learnt a lot of things through playing games, i. e. to plan things and be patient. Of course, it depends on what you play. Mobile games are often quite brainwashing 😥. I've played many different games. I like the strategies and creative games the most.

I love video games. In fact, I'm teaching myself Unity to turn my indie book series into a playable trailer. Made the character models already and everything.
Of course I still play them; we all need some down-time, and honestly you can learn a lot from excellent video games. Like user experience, menu design, friction. No reason not to play them except if you don't have time :)
Yes, I like video games, my favorite game is World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. It is the absolute peak of World of Warcraft gameplay-wise. I don't think you have to stop playing video games as you get older. It can be like one of my hobbies. I personally still play and it's mostly a game like minecraft even though many say it's for kids. But who cares if I like it? Mostly I go to minecraft pvp servers where on these types of servers players have to fight with other users while trying to survive in the wilderness.
