Do you have a mind hack for motivating yourself to chase "impossible" goals?

Say you have an app that makes $0 revenue. How do you motivate yourself to take it to $10K MRR? I have one called "EASY FIVE". Here's how it works: - Start with an EASY goal, say, $100 MRR. Because the target is so low, you'll be motivated to pursue it. - Once you've reached it, aim to double it - Once you've met this second goal, aim to double it again - Keep doubling your goal for a total of FIVE times Admittedly you'll only reach $3.2K by the end of it. But without the mind hack you might not have tried at all! This isn't a BS guru post. I've used this mind hack several times to convince myself to chase the impossible. How I accidentally "invented" this technique: I had a website with 2400 daily sessions, which was neither here nor there. By my estimate it needed to reach 1M+ monthly sessions to be a serious thing. This seemed hard so I never bothered to try, until one day I told myself just try and double the daily sessions. What happened next was very surprising: - Month 2: daily sessions doubled to 5K - Month 3: 10K - Month 5: 20K - Month 8: 40K daily sessions = 1.2M monthly sessions Not only did I manage to meet (actually exceed) a seemingly impossible target, I also did it in a short time! I don't know how to post an image here but you can see the proof here -> https://twitter.com/JonniGani/st...
