Black Friday and Cyber Monday are probably the greatest marketing events of the year. How has your experience been with them so far? Do you plan anything special this year or maybe have some best BF campaign examples?

I bought a 4k tv for like 60% of the price a few years ago, that was a good deal and the TV still feels up to date :D

Also, as a seller (I used to work in Consumer Electronics B2B2C) - it's a great time of the year. We did 'sell-in' (to the distributor, B2B) by promising marketing support during the Black Friday weeks, in order to help with their sellout (B2C). It gave them a reason to buy more products from us with more confidence. And it's a situation where they can't lose, because after the Black Friday guess what's coming? December with Christmas and New Years - the 'gift' time of the year. In case A) they don't sell enough of what they've bought for Black Friday, they just order less for the Christmas/NY sales - because they've already got plenty of stock to sell left from Black Friday. In case B) they sell a lot on Black Friday, they still have time to increase December orders and get products in time. Check the timings of Black Friday deals - it usually has 4-6 weeks gap before the Christmas, plenty of time for logistics. So, it's 2 options here: 1) Failed Black Friday => Can sell the remainder on Christmas = you sold everything, don't have overstock. 2) Success on Black Friday => Order more before Christmas, enough time => Sold even more on Christmas = no overstock, and sold even more thanks to Black Friday. I think from Seller's perspective, Black Friday is a genius logistics optimization event. It's like pre-launch of the Christmas sales.
