Developers, what would you do to get a new job?

Programmers, which option do you prefer when approached by a company for a job or looking for a new one?

If I'm not looking for a job, I will not want to do much work, such as a recruiting test. So, I would prefer to share the link to my GitHub profile. But, as a company, beware that public GitHub contributions are heavily unbalanced in favor of men. Taking them too much into account worsens biases and reduces diversity in your team. (good luck, hiring is very hard!)

@sylvain_lesage, thanks for the reply; we're looking into counter-measure to thwart the effects of gender bias, especially by only keeping the source code and non of the profile's "branding".

+1 for GitHub profile. The contribution of the developer to different open source projects and personal hobby projects, tells a lot about a person, than any rank/ leaderboard.
