Design Sprint or Mom Test?

Do you prefer a design sprint or the mom test for early validation? Or do you do something else?
If they are new terms to you. A design sprint is better with a team but should get you an MVP in a week or two. The Mom test helps you understand how to phrase questions to get true insights, ensuring you don't deceive yourself, in customer interviews.

I'd start (and we did) with a Mom test, but I believe design sprint is really useful for bigger teams. If you're starting from 0 – I'd go w the first one.
