Hello world, this data nerd just started a Data Club on substack. First post is about data collection, AI and Web3. https://dataclub.substack.com/p/... Here's a short version ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ The 2018 Cambridge Analytica scandal exposed the ease with which personal data can be collected without consent, emphasising the need for stronger privacy regulations. Even with improved consent practices, concerns persist about potential data scandals fueled by AI. As AI generates new content and analyses complex data, it unlocks opportunities for linking data sources and making accurate predictions. However, the dual nature of data presents risks and rewards. While personalised content enhances user experience and product personalisation, it also raises the potential for harmful scandals. In this era of big data, building trust with users is crucial. Transparent data collection, usage, and sharing practices encourage user loyalty and confidence in data safety. To establish data trust, companies must clearly communicate what data is collected, how it is used, and who has access to it. User control and the option to opt out of data collection and sharing are essential. While a readable privacy policy is a starting point, achieving transparent data will be found in web3 solutions. āœŒļø

Totally agree Mila. When we wrote our privacy policy, we focused on the user, not our company.
