Can you share a project where the design played a crucial role in its success?

Look at all the most successful apps in the market, starting with macOS, iOS, iPaidOS and Microsoft's new design language and how Google shifted from engineers designing products to actual designers creating them today. That's a good starting point for use cases...engineers and coders didn't, don't and won't, design them. Designers do. Often with input from anthropologists (myself), sociologists and, oddly enough, philosophers.
