We do. We usually offer "buy one get one free" deal as we have many add-ons. This time we might try something else, as long as it affects the bottom line positively.

Yes we offered 30% on all plans on black friday in 2021. I have seen saas offer deals upto 50% off for their annual plans and upto 30% on their lifetime deals. We saw sales go up by over 40-50% in November(on the monthly basis) because of our black friday offer. Here are my learnings: - Looks like people don't do crazy discounts, but rather something between 20%- 30%. - More yearly packages for your SaaS - Discounts usually apply only to new customers/ subscriptions This is what I got so far from people who applied their deals to this list https://bit.ly/3TGXsFG

I've generally found that strategically placed discount (for ex: lost leaders) tend to accomplish two things for us:

1 - upsell/xsell other (strategic) products, and
2 - drive overall brand recognition and affinity.

The main trick is to be wise with what you intend to discount. For example, if you discount a camera, some subset of your customers will opt to buy film (sorry for the archaic example... its just the 1st thing that popped into my head but you get the point).

I recently switched from free plans to trial + paid only. So I offered the 30% discounts for old customers anyway so skipping the black friday :)
