Best Practices for Building In Public

Hey everyone! I'm preparing to launch my latest project(LeetDesign) over the next few weeks and I was planning to start building in public from 0$ MRR. I've seen a bunch of articles online talking about different methods I can take to share the journey. So far I'm planning on: * Sharing MRR publicly in my Twitter Bio (thanks TweetSync + ChartMogul) * Tweeting(@dannyhabibs) about the lessons, milestones, highs and lows * Sharing a `/open` page with even more analytics around usage Is there anything else I should be considering? Anything I should watch out for?

Hey @daniel_habib2 this is great! I've also been following guys doing the same and I must say, it's very interesting to see how external input can drive a business. Sahil (CEO) of Gumroad takes it a step further by making board meetings open and people can contribute. What are your thoughts on open board meetings? Eager to see the progress, added you on twitter :)

@derrick_abincha open board meetings would super interesting. When I get farther along I would def start doing these it sounds super useful. Currently I write up monthly updates, and I actually may be able to start sharing those out publicly

We have a monthly investor update that we make public to everyone. We show all our grow metrics, engineering metrics, failures and successes when it comes to targets. People seem to really enjoy it. https://docs.thisapp.com/home/in... We also share strategies, plans and other documentation we you can see on that page.

A great list. I am going to be building in public from Monday too. It would be great to connect What about showcasing how your product is being build? The behind-the-scenes work. Have you thought about that?
