Best payment gateway for solo developer?

Question

What is the best payment gateway for solo developers? I have already done some research and found three that are good for SaaS, such as Paddle, Stripe, and PayPal.

I think Paddle is a suitable option for me. Is there an alternative to Paddle? Can you share your experience using Paddle or other payment gateways? Thank you

I recently started using Paddle, and I like it. 
So far, I have no negative experiences to share.

If I wasn't EU based, I might consider Stripe more.

https://www.getrevin.com is an alternative to Paddle. Like Paddle, they also act as merchant of record. They run on top of Stripe and for smaller payments seem cheaper than Paddle. I have not used them yet, but plan to check them out
