I wanted to start a discussion about daily meetings and whether they're really necessary for every team. Some people say that they're super helpful for keeping everyone on track and making sure tasks are getting done efficiently. But others argue that they can be a huge time-waster, especially if they're not well-organized or don't have a clear agenda.
So what do you think? Are daily meetings a must-have for your team, or do you think they're more of a hassle than they're worth? Do you have any tips for making daily meetings more productive and efficient?

It depends on the goals of the team and the business model. Daily meetings can be useful for teams that are working on time-sensitive projects and need to check in frequently to ensure that everyone is on track.
However, daily meetings are necessary or practical for all teams, and it is important to strike a balance between the benefits of regular communication and the time and resources required to hold frequent meetings.

Weekly meetings are better. I prefer we should not do micro management. We should trust our team, they will definitely complete tasks on time.
@sule_gorgulu I think daily meeting is good to keep it on the track everyone but it should not be more time consuming or make it lesser time meeting. If it is about 1 hour or more than that then you should keep it once or twice in a week. Even You can add only those who are require to be in meeting so it can save other's time for work.
Short daily follow-ups are the best
If you decide that daily meetings are right for your team, there are a few things you can do to make them more productive and efficient:
1️⃣ Set a clear agenda: Make sure that everyone knows what will be discussed during the meeting and that there is a clear purpose for the meeting.
2️⃣ Keep the meeting focused: Don't allow the meeting to drift off topic or become a forum for casual conversation.
3️⃣ Limit the length of the meeting: Keep the meeting to a reasonable length, and make sure that everyone has an opportunity to speak and contribute.
4️⃣ Follow up after the meeting: Make sure that any action items or decisions made during the meeting are documented and followed up on in a timely manner.
The less meetings the better. I always prefer one day in a week without meetings.

Depending on the team's needs and the project, daily meetings may or may not be necessary. Ultimately, it is up to the team leader to determine the best approach for the team.
To make meetings productive, it's important to set a time limit on your daily meetings to ensure that you stay on task and stay focused. Make sure to encourage participation from all members of the meeting.

It depends on the situation.
Meetings should be like calories and vitamins. They are essential but the everyday little bit is not going to help. Rather once a week or at least twice a month is a good idea.
I find it very useful to have daily meetings with my clients. I can decide which tasks can be done fast and get them done right away.
A daily 15mins standup meeting is quite helpful IMO. Gets everyone on the same page.
Other than that, meeting without an agenda or just longer than an hour is waste of time in the majority of cases.
Yes. Daily meetings are a must have for any business. Except for a few major decisions that require a vote, the majority of the information and decisions that get made can be handled during a daily team meeting.
These are often time-wasting.
In my experience, it really depends on the team / project. Sometimes daily are must, sometimes even weekly are waste of time. But I think that there is one main rule for any meeting - have the goal and moderator (organizer) who can control that time and agenda is on track.
