I'm building https://travelermap.net - the website where users can explore national parks on interactive maps, add reviews, and mark parks as visited (there are personalized maps). Right now, it's still under rapid development but I wonder how to attract users and how to build community. Anyone is also building something similar, and wants to connect and share experiences?

Hey Kacper, Your product is awesome and interesting. I am building Safe Selection: a platform for the safety of women and travelers. It aims to make travel safer for everyone. Our platform provide user-generated reviews and ratings about cab drivers/services from other users' past experiences. The idea is to create transparency between travelers and drivers/services and bring together a community of concerned and informed individuals Coming soon page: producthunt.com/products/safe-selection

Hi @caspg_, I have the same issue actually. Working on a marketplace app, that will connect people looking for career help with those that offer it. (https://www.theworksage.com/) I'd say the big question is to determine what's the user type your platform can't live without. In your case, I imagine that would be the parks. Reading currently a book called "The Cold Start Problem" by Andrew Chen and you might want to check it out, as it tackles specifically this problem :)
