AI vs. human creativity. Which side are you on?

We stop learning new things every day. Great artists used to take years to paint a picture, but today anyone can become an artist with just a few words. As a creative person, I want to keep thinking, learning, dreaming and creating something new. But definitely not to copy.

I believe AI is a good tool for optimizing tasks that require efficiency rather than creativity. Its primary use, in my opinion, should be to streamline tedious everyday work and to free people enough that they can focus on truly important tasks and creativity that AI currently struggles to replicate.
I see AI more as an assistant tool than something that can truly replace actual developers and creators.

@michaelshver Thanks for opinion. I want to believe it. But lately, many people I know from marketing and graphic design have moved away from tasks because it's more profitable for businesses to use generative models.
And those who are actively using AI have stopped creating new things. They've focused on AI capabilities rather than developing their skills and abilities. "Why should I learn something new when I know perfectly well how to write a prompt..."
True artists who take pride in their craft will not be able to overshadowed by modern day AI...maybe one day, there's a robot that can pick up a brush and paint an elaborate picture...when that day comes, we are doomed
@aris_nakos Agreed. The fact is that junior professionals don't want to become senior in their field. Why should they spend years of their lives learning complex knowledge when the whole market is on the other side?
Won't this approach lead to the fact that there will be no real professionals left, and mature newcomers will not be able to seriously compete with AI?
In the end, it will not matter which side you are on when AI becomes too good to notice. Kinda scary
