Looking for feedback please!

Happy Monday, Makers! I was meeting with my technology coach, and he blew my mind today. We were discussing esports offerings, and he said, "cybersecurity should be an esports because I wanna see if someone can break my algorithms." This trigged every ounce of my ADHD, and I started thinking about competitions for academic disciplines. My thoughts were: Could product hunt be considered an esport? Could hackathons be considered an esport? I know that there are design competitions, but could it be classified as an esport? Personally, I think it would make a great student organization on collegiate campuses that could be a recruitment pipeline. In addition, I think this could be something that could be incorporated in STEM & IB programs. Looking forward to the feedback! - Matt
