Is there a way to prevent a site from being hunted prematurely?

I've got a little side project that I'm starting to share to get some feedback and early users on, but I'm not ready for it be hunted yet. Is there some way to prevent this?

Hi Phil. From what I have seen, most of the time it is you who have to convince hunters to hunt your product, and you create a launch schedule together (on your side you coordinate with press and other efforts). To your question, as far as I know there is not a way to prevent it.
