Looking for a platform to record basic application usage data. Any recommendations please?

RudderStack looks nice but needs a destination for data storage. I'm trying to find a suitable one that's simple and most importantly free.

I want to record things like a unique customer ID to see how many users do we have and some other analytic data.

What would you guys recommend?

@caroline_chiari I totally missed your reply. Actually I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for but I think a MongoDB instance would be a very flexible. All the raw data can be dumped into it and I can just query it for all the analytics and insights.
