What are people's attention spans like these days? How long should:
a) Marketing/promo video be
b) Tutorial on how to use the product

It depends on the TYPE of content you are giving them. For example, If it is a thorough marketing guide, your ideal audience might like the longform of it and thus, would have higher attention span (given you make it gripping for them).
