How do you remember or recall what you read?

Depends on what it is about. Sometimes I take screenshots of the most important paragraphs, or write it down with bullet points if I have enough time. What are your methods?

I take notes of things I find important. However, I've found that I almost never needed to go back to my notes for things actually important enough — because I'd remember them.

To Solve this problem and make insight more actionable, I keep a practice of writing my summary / understanding as notes in Bear App and tag them properly. Typically, i also try to read all notes every month.
