Can I use gifs in an app that has in-app purchases?

Hey everyone! We are working on a side project with a friend of mine and thinking about to use some Gifs in it, but we are not sure if it's legal or not. Because we'll probably ​have an in-app purchase feature for removing adds or like that. So maybe it can be trickier when money involves it.
