Should you explain your monetisation strategy on your website?

I've been going through the "remote, virtual, gamified accelerator" Pioneer.app for four weeks now. One common question from people is "how will you monetise"? Touchgram has at least 3 paths to income planned, which I generally explain to people in person. None of these are proprietary in the sense that I want to protect them, although I think one's a bit of an innovative twist. Am I getting asked just because this is a group of startup founders, or do you think this is of general interest to potential users? Do you think it would reassure people to know how we're planning to make money, to strengthen our assertion that we don't capture their data (and so don't exploit or resell it)?
