Maker disclosure: same as above I work on StorageZen, a competitor to some of the tools mentioned below. Trying to keep this useful rather than a pitch; take the comparison with that in mind and go verify current pricing/features yourself before deciding anything.
Spent a while researching this properly (for our own comparison content, so bias noted) and the UK self-storage software market has a few real, structural differences worth knowing before you commit to anything not just feature checklists:
- SiteLink/Storable pricing is opaque you get a quote, not a published number. Fine if you have leverage to negotiate, annoying if you just want to compare options quickly.
- Stora has a 50-unit minimum, which rules it out for smaller independent operators outright regardless of how good the product is.
